"My family stayed at The Avenue II for 4 days in May. It had everything we needed for our beach trip. The beds were perfect, the room was large for 2 adults and 2 toddlers and very clean! We had a FULL breakfast everyday which held down our meal expense. The indoor pool was delightful for my rambunctious toddler granddaughters. There were so many nice extras to our stay, to many to count! The staff was very friendly and kind. Thanks again! Peter for your kindness throughout our stay. It would have been nice to have the hotel shuttle running at that time. My grandchildren were not fans of walking back and forth to the boardwalk during our stay. We can’t wait till next year to return to this wonderful hotel/motel. The Avenue. "

"Room and bathroom were large enough, however 2 of the pillows had dirt marks or smudges on them and the ac unit was not cooling at all."

"Clean, friendly, quiet, and close to everything. Parking was an added bonus - will definitely be staying again!"

"This hotel has people living with dogs and cats on the 1st floor. My room had black hairs all over and in the shower. The hallway carpet is nasty. "

"The first room we were given had puke or other bodily fluid on the bed skirting and hair in the bathroom. We were then given another room on the 2nd floor. When walking up the stairs there was a strong odor from someone using a spray gun to paint over the brown water stained ceiling tiles. The paint particles were lingering in the air making me want to gag. We continued to the room where it smelled like a chain smoker was living there for a year. Absolutely do not recommend this hotel. In my personal opinion the building should be condemned."

"We were surprised to find crumbs on the floor. in the bedroom! There were some type of flies coming out of the sink until we shoved rag in it! During the night the flies were on the pillow in the bed! Very disappointed that the Clerk that checked us in never gave us the 15% Moose Lodge discount! Cleaning staff was attentive and provided us with extra T Paper when asked and then asked if we needed anything else! My husband was disappointed that the breakfast didn't change up at all since the last years we have been going there. The "sausage patties" were fatty and the bacon wasn't crisp at all! Outdoor pool looked very nice and the flowers were a lovey addition to add to the seating area!"
