"Lovely little shepherds hut with a pub nearby. Compact and clean with good outside space. Family run so if you've got any questions there is always someone around. Nice little welcome with milk and eggs. A good base to explore the arra."

"The cottage was clean and tidy with all we needed, bed was comfortable and kitchen was well equipped. Easy flat walk into town. Slight issue with accessing the app in order to get into the property, other downsides parking was tight and steps down to the back door were steep and uneven. Also stairs inside the cottage were steep too. Overall we enjoyed our stay."

"This is a lovely cottage in a beautiful peaceful location on a working farm. Bakewell and Buxton are just a few minutes away as are many excellent walking areas - there's even very nice walking straight from the door. The host was friendly and helpful. The parking did get a bit tight at the end of our stay when a group turned up for the larger property next door, but the host said we could just park in their private parking which was also very nearby. The property information says "3 pin socket in car park" for EV charging, but this is incorrect - it is a single 7kW untethered type 2 charger operated by VoltShare, 0.58/kWh in July 26. We had a lovely stay and will definitely be back."

"We had a lovely long weekend at the Corner Cottage. It is a large cottage situated right at the heart of the village, within walking distance of a number of pubs and restaurants. Bakewell is just a short drive away and it is easy to explore the Peak District from this location. This was our second visit and we would highly recommend."

"Lovely place. Staff was wonderful. Breakfast was a delight sitting outside. The room was clean and meet our needs but very small. For one night while touring it was fine but if staying a few days of all for the largest room they have. Ours might have been an outlier size wise. Otherwise it was a great place. The town is small and quiet and very near Bakewell which has more to see and do. Also near the Chatsworth Estate worth visiting and the Monsal Trail' great for bike rental and walking."

"We had a lovely stay in the cottage. It was just right for the two of us. We were happy with every aspect of the accommodation inc its location which was convenient for the town centre.Only one thing in the description i noticed was it said a super king size bed. We have one of those and the one here is not a super king but a king size. Not a problem though.It was a great few days overall.Thank you."
