"We arrived to a clean, well dressed room. Bed was comfy and everything was clean. Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. First stay at the Hilton and glad we chose it. "
"Excellent property located next to the Emory University Campus.
Parking is affordable and painless, especially for here in ATL!
Breakfast was stellar and kept us full well into each day. Buffet style with pancakes, waffles, and omelets made to order.
Even with an active health convention at the hotel, there were no delays or changes in the quality of service given to us by staff.
The hotel is tucked away in a wooded area, so it is very quiet.
About 8 min from Piedmont park! We stayed for Shaky Knees Music Festival and it was very easy to hop in an uber and head to the park.
Pros:
-Ultra accessible hotel! I loved having a shower chair available even in a room that wasn’t marked “accessible”
-rooms located on ground floor for wheelchair access
-very close to Emory hospital facilities for patient access
-filling breakfast buffet
-beautiful interiors
Cons:
-slow WiFi for streaming
-fitted sheet would not stay on the bed!! The sheets are not deep enough and I have seen other guests comment about this here on Expedia. Please get some linens that match the quality of everything else :)"
"Exactly as advertised, this tree house is beautiful and a perfect get away in the heart of the city. Thank you for the homemade bread, it was a nice surprise. Definitely a once in a lifetime experience we will not forget."
"Slept so good because it was EXCEPTIONALLY clean! WELL MAINTAINED! All the space in room 212 was a treat compared to most hotels these days. No stuffiness or bad smells. Just clean and comfortable. We will be back to Emory for appointments and will always always always book a room at The University Inn. I’m dreading a day there may not be a room available. We got the last one this time! A side note is that we got there after midnight and the staff were easy to reach and got us checked in efficiently and kindly. The to go breakfast was clean and set up at 7am. They had hearty boiled eggs in prepackaged to go as well as yogurt, make your own quick oatmeal, prepackaged muffin/pastries, fruit cups, milk, granola bars, juice, & maybe another thing or two I’m forgetting. Good enough for us. Very pleased with this place. "
