Reviewer Comments: We had the BEST vacation ever! 🌊☀️ This beautiful beach house was right on the ocean, and there is nothing better than being able to wake up and enjoy the ocean right outside your door! The house was spacious, exceptionally clean, and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and memorable. It truly felt like the perfect place to relax, make memories, and enjoy time with family.I also cannot say enough good things about Tide Life! They were absolutely amazing to work with from start to finish. They were so friendly, accommodating, and helpful, making the entire process easy and stress-free. "

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There appears to be a water leak of some kind in the ceiling of the entry. Damaged drywall and it looks like it was previously repainted. The 2nd floor bedroom with the king bed was previously smoked in and smelled of cigarette smoke. The new ceiling fans in the 2nd floor rooms have an issue where each remote controls all the fans. So when you try and turn one light off it turns another rooms light on, etc."

"Everyone said they enjoyed the stay. We did have an issue with temperature control. Some second floor rooms were warmer than hoped for and some were cooler. We were unable to adjust the thermostats to balance things out. And, regardless of the thermostat setting in the master bedroom, the bathroom vents were always sending cold air. Also, the left most (when facing the property from the road) 2nd floor bedroom occupants reported that there was no hot water in the bathroom sink."

"Nice property with easy access to the beach and clubhouse area. Pool is great, although it was bathwater warm due to the heat wave during the two weeks we stayed. Lots of room to mingle or escape if needed. Bathroom rooms were laid out a little differently but we worked around that. Couple of minor maintenance issues that were suggest to be fixed. Super quiet and safe environment. Family had a great time"

"We have been coming to DeBordieu over 30 years. Southern Dunes has a great location and has been in our lives off and on during those 30 years. Things that can be improved are: refrigerator does freeze your food that needs to be fixed. Ice does run out quickly for 11 people. Improve the ice machines the boardwalk to the beach is dangerous with popping nails that needs to be improved. The master suite has water stains on the ceiling. In the hallway on the second floor looking into living room, the air-conditioning vents look very moldy. Exterior doors are hard to shut Hope this helps!"
