"Great location and you can't ask for a better beach. The point is amazing especially at low tide. With that being said, the accommodations aren't great. The outside is very run down. The landscape needs trimmed. There's a pile of things people have left behind that all probably needs thrown out. The place inside is pretty dirty. The walls and floors under the furniture are covered in dust. They leave you a shark vacuum but no broom. It would be nice to keep the sand cleaned up throughout the week that accumulates on the deck and stairs. Also, they tell you it has a shower. Well, if you like to stand in the tub you see in the pictures and hold the shower head while trying to wash your hair and body, then by all means, call that a shower. We used the outdoor shower that is on ground level because it was more like a real shower and had hot water. The outdoor furniture is awful. Nothing to sit on if you go on the sand. The chairs on the top deck are falling apart. If you drink coffee, there's no regular coffee maker, just the Kuerig. There's no dishwasher so bring regular dish soap because they don't supply it. There are no curtains on any of the bedroom windows. If you don't mind having the absolute bare necessities then you'll love it here."

"Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Magnolia. The house is well appointed and the owners clearly have put intentional thought into making the home welcoming and comfortable. The location is isolated enough to enjoy the peacefulness of PI but close enough to restaurants (we really enjoyed Frank's - thank you so much) and other businesses to be convenient. Our experience with Peace Vacations and the owners couldn't have been more positive. The information we received throughout our stay was relevant and timely, and the responses from both were the best we've ever encountered on a vacation trip. "LOVED the view from this lovely villa. Needs updated some on the inside and it definitely needs a deep clean. The paint is chipped and the trim was very dirty, as well as spider webs in the corners. We enjoyed our stay very much. We took pictures from inside the house and on the beach!"

"We loved this property--fantastic location (near the south end, on the ocean and creek), very large with a nice layout, includes both a screened-in porch and an open deck. There were just two of us staying there, so we had PLENTY of room. I thought it would be wonderful for a family gathering next year, with all of the bedrooms and bathrooms. But YIKES--the cost has more than TRIPLED next year to over 3000/night!!! It is a beautiful property, but not that beautiful! The check-in procedure could have been a little easier. We arrived at 3:00, and check-in with Lachicotte is at 4:00. Oftentimes with other property management companies, if you arrive early and if they have finished cleaning the property, you can go ahead and check in. But that was not the case here--there were no exceptions to the 4:00 check-in."
