Search Darois hotels

The best time to go to Darois is during the late spring (May to June) or early autumn (September to October).

During these months, the weather is pleasantly mild, making it ideal for exploring the surrounding Burgundy countryside and vineyards. You'll find fewer crowds compared to the peak summer season, allowing for a more relaxed experience. The spring brings blossoming landscapes, while autumn offers the beauty of the grape harvest and vibrant foliage.

For those interested in wine tasting and touring vineyards, early autumn is particularly recommended as it coincides with the vendanges (grape harvest). Many local wineries offer special tours and events during this period, providing a unique insight into the winemaking process.

If you prefer warmer weather for outdoor activities like cycling or walking, July and August are also good options, though you can expect more visitors and higher temperatures.
