Does not meet price point

We stayed here with our family for several days. The house is huge but is extremely expensive considering its poor general cleanliness and obvious disrepair. We spent a long time cleaning the pool ourselves. The contact centre is located overseas, so there was no direct way to communicate with on-site management. A photo of us holding our driver’s lic must be emailed before check-in details are provided, this requirement not being stated in the listing. The property has multiple sections of the ceiling leaking water, leaving it damp and mouldy. The shower did not drain properly, and there was rat poo around the BBQ and pool area. We also noticed rat traps inside the house, and ants were living in the kitchen cabinets. Additionally, the house is not child-friendly, particularly due to the unsafe stairs leading down to the pool. I have tried multiple times to contact the property managers but have not received a reply. Overall, this experience was very disappointing given the high price. I would not recommend staying here, nor would I ever stay here again.
