"Parking lot is terrible! Apparently there’s one in the back but it hasn’t been plowed. Entrance off of road should be better marked- the sign is past the turn. Rooms were okay but lobby and exterior were very tired. One plus was the beds were very comfortable. Hair dryer didn’t work - the plugs in the bathroom were faulty. Staff was lovely though. You get what you pay for. Would have appreciated if breakfast was included. "

"Room very cold and in need of a makeover. Paint chipping and floor needed to be replaced. The heat was minimal. They had a small electric heater in the room. A larger person wouldn't be able to stand at the sink as the toilet was right there. We had to call a number to check in and didn't see anyone ."

"Very responsive host. Clean and welcoming. Lovely location and near to some nice hikes (waterfalls, fairy holes). Great seclusion and ease of access to major roads. Host was very accommodating for a late checkout. Kitchen well stocked with dishes, utensils, pots and pans, etc. Wifi worked well, and good cell service. On the minor annoyance side, we had trouble turning off the ceiling fans and leaving lights on. One fan was broken. Outdoor lights over porch did not work, but side light was sufficient. Games room and fireplace (on listing) were not available. "
