The white towels were off white Towels and complimentary water were not in the room on Day 2 and when i requested, it took time to get the towel and for the water, was told they ran out of stock.

If you like being depressed, extremely small spaces and a prison like room environment then stay here because that is exactly what I and my wife felt like staying at this place. The room felt like a prison room. The shower was in a small separate room. The toilet was in a small cramped room and the sink was in the same room as the bed and that room was itself cramped. I had to literally leave the room right and walk up and down the block just not to be depressed. This is not a hotel for a family stay not even a couple stay.

Hotel is very nice and staff is friendly. Free breakfast every morning was really cool. Dinner was also decent. I had to change room the first night due to curtain and shower glass door not functioning. maintenance team should inform the staff. Also a delivery guy came to bang my door at 3am one night which i found shocking and unsafe that he was sent up.

This was the third or fourth time I stayed at Yaas Les Almadies. I have been coming to Senegal since the 1980s and this is by far my favorite hotel in Dakar - affordable, clean, safe, responsive and friendly staff, good breakfast included, and fabulous restaurants along the shore within walking distance. I'll be back!

The AC was very bad the family they spend night without sleeping because of the very hot room !!! They change room but the problem come from the general AC or electricity !!! They should not bring people without fixing this problem! It was very bad experience for my family !!!

I think I will stay here again
The good parts were the convenience of the hotel, the willingness of the staff. The bed was very comfortable. The less good was the poor refill of food and crockery at breakfast time.

It’s a relatively new hotel located a short drive to the port to go Ngor Island and the African Renaissance Monument. Also, it’s in Almadies neighbourhood which is a club district so many options for bars, restaurants, and discos are nearby. The surrounding area is affluent with many embassies, including the U.S. Embassy that is only a 10 minute walk away. The only downside is that there’s no pool or phone in the room which is not very convenient. The rooms are small but good for two persons and it’s an American style three star hotel so don’t expect any luxury.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was functional. Nice buffet breakfast included in room price. Restaurant menu offered variety and good quality. Other restaurants in walking distance. The WiFi was often very slow. No hair dryer or safe in room. HVAC functioned well. Good value in Dakar for a basic business hotel.

Pros: Secured, good internet speed no problem with wifi, clean , and great neighborhood Cons: Check in process not efficient , slow . The rooms are very small. The “family room” is not really a family room. Is a very tight place with a bunk bed and a bed , bathroom without bath tub and everything is so uncomfortably close in a very small place.

Very clean hotel. WiFi was very good too. Staff pleasant and helpful. Only downside is room too small for me and my son. Shower room had no place to hang your towel/clothes. Overall great hotel and strategic location for visiting Dakar,upscale neighborhood.
