"The house was beautiful with such a wonderful river setting. Big open floor plan, perfect for family gathering. From the main area of the house you could see the pool and on out to the river.The host Chris was very attentive with answering questions prior to our arrival and answered a call we had to make to him after arriving, willingly helping to resolve a small problem quickly. The kayaks could use some attention, we were able to use them but we had to clean them up and they had no seats in them anymore, also the paddle board takes on water. "

"I cannot say enough about this gem of a place. It is Old Florida at its best. The staff are wonderful and the rooms are clean. The grounds are tidy with seating to sit and enjoy looking at the bay. They have the spring fed pool that is fun to swim in. We bring our kayak and can tie to the docks. It is so relaxing. The restaurants and shopping are just a short walk. There are many walking/biking paths and you can even walk/bike to the Three Sisters Wildlife Refuge from the lodge. If you are looking for a family friendly place to just relax, enjoy the water, and seeing wildlife, this would be a perfect place."
