"An overnight stop on way to Switzerland. A very warm hotel and welcome by staff. We enjoyed the dinner and breakfast the next day. A very spacious room with a view of the lake. "

The history and charm of the Chateau could quickly be felt upon arrival and did not disappoint for the rest of our stay! This listing does not state that this hotel is situated in someone’s house and that you have to walk through the owner’s personal living space and belongings to access the room. There is no front desk as all dealing were done in the host’s kitchen. There was no bar/lounge unless you joined the host and their family on the couch in their living room which would’ve...

"I hate leaving negative info but for the benefit of future travelers, I have to be honest about a few items with this property: 1. It was absolutely buzzing with flies inside. There was spray and a fly swatter inside which indicates this must be a known issue to the property manager. It made our short stay very uncomfortable. 2. This is not a hot tub, it is a swedish bath. It was ice cold on arrival and would've taken hours to warm up to a useable temperature. That might've been ok but we...
