All went well and on time
Toilets were not very clean, no soap or paper towel..my wife tells me
Upon the plane landing and stopping at the gate staff need to tell passengers not to surge forward down the aisle to wait for the doors to open. Passengers from seat rows 10+ were waiting at the front of the plane and passengers from the front rows could not even stand up. This is not the correct and safe way to get passengers off a plane. We have seen it happen a few times in Italy and Croatia.
The fight was 25mins late but that was not the airlines fault, I booked from Australia but couldn’t book my baggage online, several attempts wouldn’t accept my credit card , so we paid at the airport double the online rate so a bit disappointing
There was no record of our payment done on line for checkin baggage. Croatia Air suggested that it was an Expedia problem but I made the payment through the airlines own website.
It was impossible to pay for a checked bag at time of booking with Expedia. Also impossible with Croatian Airlines online , having booked first with Expedia. Had to pay at airport check in which was more expensive. This is the only Airline where it was difficult to add baggage online.
All went very well
Although it was codeshare, Austrian airlines were fantastic.
