"My host Daniella was very nice and helpful with local information. The last day officially I was meant to check out at 10am, but I was allowed to stay free of charge till 7pm, as my flight home was not until 9.30 pm. Danielle even gave me a lift to the airport. Obviously I was lucky nobody was checking in on the day I left and also that she happened to be free to drive me to the airport. Overall a nice quiet place to stay, only a 2 or 3 minute walk to the ocean."

Ana let us kindly store our luggage in the morning while we explored Split and waited for the checkin time to come. She even let us check in a bit earlier than normal. "We had a change of plans the day of our arrival and found this hotel last minute, luckily they had rooms and tbh this hotel was much better than the one we originally booked and had to cancel, I believe it all worked out perfectly. The staff was amazing and always made up our rooms when we would get back after a long day."

"Our room at Castle 1700 was in the annex, as I had requested. The room and the bathroom we're very clean and comfortable. Mijo was very helpful to us in moving our luggage up and down the steps to our room. We took advantage of the breakfast buffet on one of the two days that we stayed there and it was a very nice breakfast complete with a combination of hot food and cold food options. We really liked staying in the Old City and it was very convenient to many of the shops and the restaurants of old town. I will say that the temperatures outside were very warm while we were there but the air conditioning inside the room was very cool and refreshing and did not disappoint while we were there."

The staff were friendly at all times and it was great our room was ready early. The location is perfectly located right in the heart of all the action to experience restaurants, bars and shops, it is also very quiet. Definitely would recommend :)"

Don’t order fish there - it wasn’t eatable, but we were charged anyway…"

"Location was great walking distance to Palace, Local Beach Club, Train and Cruise Dock. Room was nice with a nice size bathroom and shower. Furniture was a bit strange, the desk had an inclined gaming style chair, but the side chair was comfortable. The mattress, although comfortable, needed to be higher in the bed frame. The rooftop seating was lovely at night to bring your own drink for a nightcap. Staff were helpful, specifically Martina was extremely friendly and informative."
