Property conditions & facilities

4/5 Good

Cosy
The garden of the accommodation was great. Lots of room and seating for 10 people, and space for our small dog to run around and explore. Inside was very cosy indeed and if you’re mainly using the place to sleep, it is adequate as the living area is quite cosy, especially for a family of 4. Served our purpose as we only stayed one night and we went to Sovereign Hill, but may not be suitable for longer stays.

5/5 Excellent

Clean, compact and convenient
This little cabin was like a Tardis. Tiny, but had everything I needed. However it would only suit a little family or a couple. Fenced outdoors areas were great for my pup Buddy. The front yard was a Sun- catcher, but unfortunately I didn’t get to enjoy it as Buddy and I were busy sightseeing during the best hours on the second day and it was cold and cloudy the first day.

Awesome stay with our doggies
Awesome little place to stay with dogs. Gorgeous verandah overlooking a reserve, very peaceful and relaxing. Two great areas for the dogs. One off the verandah where they are completely secure. Also large lawn area for toileting at the back. Only comment I would make is that there is a huge gap under the gate for the lawn area so if you have a dog that could take off you would have to keep them on lead in this area. Ours were fine but you can't leave them unattended in that area (large fenced area off verandah is perfect). Place was spotlessly clean, heating great and beds super comfy. We'll be back for sure. 🙂

Cutest little cabin/cottage
Gorgeous quiet location. The garden is quirky and safe for dogs with lots of native birds. The back gate is up off the ground so the grassed area is not secure for dogs but our dog didn’t care as she had so much fun in the secure area out the front. Lovely view down to the lake. Well provisioned. Plenty of heaters and electric blankets and spare blankets (we used them all - the nights were cold. Thank you for the use of your lovely little property

Lakeview at Creswick.
Sparkling Springs Cabin compact and comfortable for us - 2 adults and our little Jackie Gracie. Comfortably warm and with all facilities despite the rather cramped shower and toilet area. Enjoyed sitting on the deck overlooking the Lake and Park area and would return again if staying in Creswick.
