"Our 2nd time at the cozy, extremely clean and comfortable condo. We really love everything about staying here! Great communication, easy parking, everything well stocked and the convenience of being so close to the main part of Crested Butte. We loving being able to walk to restaurants and shops and then coming back to the cozy fireplace and comfortable bed. Sure we will be back to stay again at this beautiful property!"

"We have stayed here many times over the years, mainly for hiking in summer/autumn. I don't know if they have new owners or what, but the amenities have changed. First of all, after we booked the room, which was $300, we got a message from the hotel with, SURPRISE!! If you want to park your car, it's an extra $30 per car plus tax, or else you can walk uphill half a mile to the free parking lot. The room has ZERO instructions on how to get on the wifi, TV channels, how late the pool is open, how late the only on-site restaurant is open, where other restauurants are located, etc. You are just supposed to figure it out for yourself because the front desk is understaffed and no one answers the phone. They even eliminated the vending machines, so if you want a snack or a juice, you have to pay $9 per drink and go to the front desk or the overpriced restaurant. Price, the doorman, was very helpful, as was the sole person at the front desk. Both of them are wonderful employees who did a great job. Maybe invest some more $ in staffing and a simple welcome book for guests instead of just raking in money."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed staying at Kate's Place so much! It was a cozy house with every amenity and provided the perfect base camp for us to explore the mountain bike trails, hikes, and great restaurants and stores around town. We felt right at home and would definitely recommend Kate's Place to others and will hopefully return ourselves in the near future!"

"Great location! Had a problem with the check in link sent via the app. Called the company at 4:45pm, no answer, left message, no call back. Messaged on the app, no response till 3:40am. Luckily we figured out the link problem on our own and got in. Had this been an actual problem and not something we figured out I would have been furious at the lack of response. House was clean, hot tub was clean and working. Kitchen had plenty of utensils and pans but no basics like salt/pepper or cooking oil. Only 2 dishwasher packs given in the welcome box. We had 5 adults, luckily we ate out one night but if you expect people to do the dishes you'd better give them enough supplies to clean them. Overall a good stay, but could have been a little better."
