"This place was by far the best place we ever had up North. Secluded but not isolated, you feel like at the tip end end of the Northshore! Close to Gooseberry and the lighthouse, few miles away from our favorite pie place, stunning view, awesome beach, fire on the beach, beautiful wooden house, fully equipped. "The home is beautiful! The amenities are all very nice. It is spacious for a larger group of people. The location is very convenient to both northern and southern north shore. I loved the barn doors on the master bedroom that we could close in the morning when I got up earlier than my husband to make coffee. "This is a quite retreat for anyone looking to get away from the hustle of life. Beautiful view of Lake Superior, no neighbors, woodsy, clean, and well stocked. It is close to the Splitrock lighthouse and Gooseberry Falls, which we enjoyed very much. After a cold hike, warming up with the fireplace and coffee was just the ticket. I would recommend this place if you really want to relax."
