Nice place for a stop. Grandkids liked the waterside. It was great the pool had extended hours as we checked in after 7 pm and they still had time to swim. Breakfast was good, standard hotel breakfast. Waffles, cereal, toast, eggs, sausage, yogurt. Staff was very friendly,

Loved it!

We would definitely stay here again. The whirlpool tub in our room was awesome. Our toddler loved the pool area. Great location, we walked down to black beach. Close to all of the state parks.

We enjoyed Black Beach Inn for the convenience of a mini getaway with our dog. The pet friendly room was perfect. Maybe a suggestion is to remove all the carpeting. We could access the outside on the ground floor to pet area right from our room. We didn't stay here for the view of the lake because there is minimal views. I knew we were going to be outside seeing the sights all day and just needed a place to chill in the evening. Our room was clean. I used the public pool/hot tub felt great after a day of hiking. Our room also had the jacuzzi tub for relaxing in after a day of hiking. Overall we enjoyed the stay. Dining option were limited. We tried Cove Point Crossings pizza one night and the second day we were in Grand Marais and many dining options there.

Worst Hotel Stay Ever!! Filthy!!

Trash was overflowing, breakfast was cold, help was very rude, no fitness center, rooms very nasty. Tried talking with manager but he refused to talk about anything. Was only trying to have the $250 reduced to at least $180. Im a traveling Nurse and stay at alot of hotels was just hoping for a little compassion. Thank you for your time. Sonya Bland RN
