"Fantastic find, being coming to Platja dAro for years but this year we have a dog, booked here as they are dog friendly and what a superb place! Spotlessly clean and tidy, all staff are friendly and happy, room was immaculate, food at lunchtime was really good and great portions, the owner works there and keeps a very tidy clean and well run hotel, they all loved our dog Pablo too"

"The room was very comfortable, air con great, bathroom great. The roof terrace is a sanctuary, calm atmosphere in the communal areas, a beautiful 4-storey spiral staircase, and not even a minute from the beach, the shops, and all the food you could eat. But most of all, the owners and staff are generous, welcoming, and helpful."

"Beautiful, quiet location. Photos on the website don't do the place justice. Came here to relax and experience a bit of Spanish culture and that was exactly what we experienced. We didn't want to hire a car and it was easy to get there by taxi from the airport (55 Euros). Lovely breakfast, chilled atmosphere at the pool even with kids around. My 12 year old son loved it all as much as we did including the spa. He got to practice a bit of the Spanish he is learning at school and I got to practise a bit of my school level French with other patrons. Would love to return! We travelled to Calella de Palafrugell afterwards (c.25mins by taxi, £70 Euros) for a few days to experience the coast - would highly recommend doing this as part of your trip."

"We hebben hier een heerlijke vakantie gehad. Het huis is ruim, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Iedereen had een eigen badkamer, de slaapkamers zijn comfortabel en de keuken is compleet ingericht. Ook de luiken en de ventilatoren waren erg prettig. Doordat het huis boven op de berg ligt, staat er vaak een verkoelend briesje, waardoor het ondanks de zomerse temperaturen goed uit te houden is.De tuin is volledig omheind, wat ideaal is als je met honden reist. Onze honden lagen vooral lekker op de veranda. Wel vonden ze de kiezelstenen in de tuin minder prettig om op te lopen.Het uitzicht over de zee en de omgeving is prachtig. De ligging is perfect om de Costa Brava te ontdekken en verschillende baaien en dorpjes te bezoeken.Houd er wel rekening mee dat de toegangsweg naar het huis erg steil is en dat het wegdek op sommige plekken wat versleten is. Rustig rijden is daarom aan te raden, zeker met een volgeladen auto. Ook wandelen met honden vanuit het huis is wat minder praktisch, omdat je eerst twee flinke hellingen op moet voordat je een wandelgebied bereikt.In de zomer zijn er behoorlijk veel muggen, dus het is verstandig om muggenspray of een muggenstekker mee te nemen.De communicatie met zowel het reserveringsbedrijf als de lokale beheerder verliep uitstekend.Wij hebben enorm genoten en zouden we dit vakantiehuis zeker aanbevelen aan mensen die op zoek zijn naar rust, ruimte, privacy en een prachtige uitvalsbasis om de Costa Brava te verkennen."

"We stayed in the 'mobile home couple' unit. It was perfect for 2 adults, and in the tree-filled setting, it has the feel of a cabin. Plenty of room inside and outside to relax with all the amenities we needed. The air-con is a bonus and kept the whole place nice and cool in the middle of July! We would definitely stay at this, or another WeCamp site again in the future."
