Casa Lamate

Casa Lamate, located in a wonderful panoramic setting overlooking the Valdichiana, is a beautiful farmhouse that features all the distinctive architectural elements of the Tuscan style, such as a loggia, terracotta floors, and wooden beams.
The house is spread over three floors, each with direct access from the outside.
The main entrance leads to the large kitchen, equipped with every convenience and fully stocked, and to the outdoor veranda, ideal for enjoying delicious dinners while taking in the scenery. An arched doorway separates the kitchen from the cosy living room with sofas, where the stone fireplace takes centre stage.
On the ground floor is the sleeping area, consisting of three bedrooms. One of the double bedrooms has an en suite bathroom with a shower; the other two bedrooms (one double and one with a French bed and an additional single bed on the lovely mezzanine) share a bathroom with a shower.
The fourth bedroom, a double with an extra single bed, is located in the basement, where guests will also find a bathroom with a shower, a small “gym corner” with a treadmill and exercise bike, and a laundry room.
Outside, the house is surrounded by 1,500 square metres of terraced and fully fenced garden, which is the ideal place to spend lovely, relaxing moments under the olive and oak trees. A small area is set aside for the BBQ and wood-fired oven.
The beautiful swimming pool area is accessible via a charming stone staircase and is equipped with sunbeds, deck chairs, and umbrellas. Adjacent to the swimming pool is a small annex with a kitchenette and a bathroom with a shower.
Casa Lamate is just a few kilometres from the well-known Etruscan town of Cortona, rich in traditions, culture, art, and culinary history. Its strategic location also makes it the perfect starting point for visiting the major cultural and urban centers of Central Italy.
