7-BR villa with private pool set in a beautiful spot of the Tuscan countryside

Located at the foot of Cortona, Borgo delle Spighe lays in the heart of Valdichiana, one of the most evocative scenery in Tuscany. This large red-brick farmhouse, typical of the rural tradition of these valleys, has been completely remodeled and now it can easily accommodate groups up to 14 people.
The restoration has been thought to preserve and revisit the rustic Tuscan style with the classical beamed ceilings, wrought iron beds and railings, brick arches and solid wood pieces of furniture.

The house is spread on three levels; the living area is on the ground floor and it is characterized by a large decorative fireplace and a beautiful dining set, with a long table and benches, extremely charming with their structure in solid wood contrasting with a smooth glass top.
Adjacent to the dining area there is the fully equipped kitchen with a modern vitreous-ceramic hob. On the same floor we find three large bedrooms, each of them with double bed and private bathroom with shower. Ascending a genuine wooden staircase, it is possible to reach a fourth bedroom, very wide and luminous.
Three further bedrooms are located on a lower floor: particularly spacious, they are all characterized by a different colour and equipped with private bathroom with shower and independent outdoor access.

At guests' disposal there is also an antique wood-burning oven and a large swimming pool located in a splendid panoramic position providing relaxing views over the surrounding valley.
The outstanding pool, is composed by a main pool which boasts a size of 10 x 5mt. and depth 1.4mt. Adjacent two smaller and shallower pools, one of them particularly ideal for kids having a maximum depth of 90cm.
Close to the swimming pool, there is a BBQ and a large built-in gazebo equipped with a table, perfect for al-fresco dining during the pleasant summer evenings, enjoying beautiful sunsets over the Tuscan countryside and a dramatic view of Cortona.

Borgo delle Spighe is set in a scenario of extended lands designed by rural paths, very inviting for walk-enthusiast, being surrounded by the golden gleam of wheat waving with the breeze, the bright yellow corollas of the big sunflowers and the violet shade of the alfalfa, a panorama hardly comparable.
