"We chose this is a last-minute stay, and we were very glad we did! The check-in was very easy, room and bathroom were both very clean, laundry facilities, and it was very convenient for our hike along the Camino de Santiago. Close to the path and also close to many restaurant options. I would chose to stay here again if my journey crosses through Padron."

The room was nice/simple, bathroom was very nice, pools (indoor spa pool and outdoor pools) were excellent and the breakfast was exactly what we needed for a good start to the day. "I stayed here for one night after walking 15 miles from Pontevedra on the Camino de Santiago Pros: -The women at the front desk was very kind and let me check in 3 hours early -The price is hard to beat as it was 35 euros for 1 night for a single standard room with king bed (the rooms are also very spacious) Cons: -You feel like you are entering and exiting a maximum security prison as you can only enter and exit the premise through a gate that has to be opened by talking to person at reception on an intercom -My room was in poor condition: there was a small hole in it, lots of hair in the bathroom, and the heating was not working (Thus, I was rather cold since it was 55 degrees F° outside). -The motel is about a 15 minute walk from the center of Caldas de Reis Overall, not a bad spot to stay while on the Camino as it is a very good price but many things need to be improved and the rooms desperately need a remodeling/renovation"
