"The hot tub was not working for entire day, which is why we chose that hotel to stay at. So we were unable to even use it. The breakfast we utilized both days but they were out of most things at 9 AM. When breakfast went till 10 AM they were shortstaffed. We reserved two queens and when we arrived on Friday, they said we didn’t have any rooms available that were two clean so we got a King Sweet. My daughter is an athlete and we get two queen beds for a reason she does not sleep well on a pullout. So we had to take the king room and when I requested an additional blanket and a pillow, they said we don’t have enough pillows and we’re unable to accommodate. That was ridiculous. I was very unhappy with this day for the money that we paid. Usually Hampton ends are our favorite, but this one was a disappointment for sure."

"The place was very clean and had everything you would need. The best part was how close it was to downtown Grand Rapids without being directly in the city. Located in a quiet neighborhoods was a plus. The host quickly responded when we contacted her. Would stay again."

"We found the home clean and our arrival with the door code provided was smooth. I inquired about a discount as offered on the posting - I was told we would get 100 for the entire stay. Didn't seem like much for a significant booking but Ok. Then I inquired the week before the trip about the discount being applied and was told it was not - that was a mistake to offer it and that is only for longer stays. I found that quite odd. If you made me the offer then live up to it. So that had me concerned - luckily nothing else went badly.We did find the home quite warm upon arrival about 5 p.m. - especially upstairs with the bedrooms. It took some time to cool it off even with A/C and the day was not terribly hot (mid-70s). The neighborhood is good - a short walk to lots of fun stuff in Eastown. The home is decently stocked with basic supplies. Just the basics. We also found the home shows its age. In addition to the A/C struggling to keep the. upstairs cool, the floors are very creaky and some other things reflect an older home like the tiny (RV size) sink in the lower bathroom). The home does accommodate a larger group well and has fun communal space for eating and visiting."
