"Everything was clean and pleasant however the room entry door lock was sticking and every time we came and went, it was a struggle to get the door open. The deadbolt was sticking and the only way to enter or exit was to push the door handle down with all your strength. Even then sometimes it would not give. I shudder to think if there was an emergency. Also, the restaurant was not open for Sunday breakfast. That was odd. "

"Went for a girls weekend. Check in went smoothly. The rooms were nicer than I expected. The hotel was in a really nice central location and the breakfast buffet was awesome!"

"The reason I gave a poor rating was for a few reasons. First of all, the guy working check-in mumbled and would not make eye contact. Not a great first impression. Second, or bathroom sink had terrible water pressure, it a just above a trickle. Finally, and probably the most irritating was at breakfast. It went from 6:30-10am and we got down there about 8:30. The coffee cups were gone, the paper plates were gone, bagels were gone, they only offered mini pre-made veggie omlets and a sausage patty, and they were out of of the omelets. It appeared that they only had one person running breakfast which was not enough. They did have one waffle maker, but at that time there was a line to use it and they only offered a specialty Churro mix (not just regular pancake mix). I normal have good experiences at Hampton Inn, but this was NOT one. I will not go back to this location. "

"The hotel is right downtown with easy access to concert venues and restaurants. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We stayed in the double room and it was quite spacious with two vanities. The only drawback was that there was no natural light as the two small windows opened to a brick wall. "

"The room was very clean and had all of the amenities you would need for a longer stay. My son is autistic so this is helpful as he is picky about what he eats and has specialized foods. There was an apartment sized fridge to fit all of the things we needed. The dishwasher was very nice as well. The staff at check in was very nice and helpful as far as where to go and eat and how to get around to the places we were visiting. The night staff was not so friendly and seemed to be bothered by even the smallest questions. For the most part though they were very friendly. be aware that there is a $33/day parking fee that is not included in the price here. It is extra. They also charge a $120 holding fee for incidentals that you get back if you dont charge anything to the room . Just for a heads up. The breakfast was very good and had a lot of different choices. definitley a plus. It is also close to just about everything so you can walk to van angel and GLC with no problem at all. Overall We really enjoyed our stay and will be staying again. "
