"Stayed over New Year and decided to stay and extra night as we felt so comfortable as staff and food were good. Room was a little small for a 'premium ' but adequate. The bar/ lounge is great, lovely fires and a lot of residents brought their dog, the staff engaged with all👍👍. Look forward to seeing how they upgrade the hotel after the January shutdown. We will be back."

"Room was nice, twin beds were good size but one of the mattresses needed replacing, sloped down on one side. Reported it. Great location opposite train station. Hudson restaurant very good evening meal and the bonus was 20% voucher on all food and drink."
