"We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely give this house five stars. It’s tucked away off the main road and feels incredibly private and peaceful, which was perfect for our group.A few of us were working remotely, and the layout made it easy to spread out while still having great spaces to come together. The kitchen opens to the deck and pool area, which became our main gathering spot.The pool and hot tub were the highlights. Floating in the pool with a view of the orchard and clear sky was absolute perfection, and the kids loved it!A tip for future guests: because you’re surrounded by beautiful nature, come prepared for bugs, especially in the evenings. Keep the doors closed and bring bug spray. A few of us noticed quite a few mosquito bites the next morning.The house is beautiful and updated. We were 3.5 couples, four kids and a newborn, so it was a little tight, but we made it work.One other tip: if you like larger, plush pool towels, bring your own. There were plenty of towels provided, enough that we could grab a fresh one when needed. There are also two sets of washers and dryers, which was fantastic for washing pool towels at the end of each day and keeping everything fresh.Plenty of parking, easy unloading directly into the kitchen, beautiful setting and a fantastic outdoor space. We made wonderful memories here!"

"Very disappointed in pool. Only 1 side (deep end) had room for pool chairs and limited to 6. Could not sit on other 3 sides. Ladders not angled and extremely difficult to use. House exceptionally clean and nicely furnished. However, there were several areas with a few steps. I use a walker and would like to have known ahead of time.Manager Chris responded immediately to any questions we had."

"Nikki was absolutely a wonderful host. She was immediately responsive when the air conditioning needed work, provided great recommendations for food and recreation, and was so helpful when we needed cancellation insurance as their was a death in the family and we were unsure how it was going to impact our vacation. The beach and water were perfect for our two year-old twin grandchildren. The cul-de-sac of water was so calm that the children could walk in the water and play without any waves, knocking them over. We will definitely return."

"It’s a good property overall. Great location. Ample space and parking. Interior of house is in good condition, newer kitchen and bathroomHot tub was nice feature, fishing was goodA few issues and constructive criticism however…cleaners were still there at our check in time and as a result the grill was dirty, a spare empty propane tank was not replaced, the washer had towels in it that we had to put in the dryer and there were no dishwasher tablets. I cleaned the grill and transferred the towels, the mgt company replaced the tank and tablets the following day…not a big deal. Constructive criticism….the kitchen needs more plates, glasses and silverware AND you need new queen mattress and box spring in the middle bedroom. My wife and I are under 400lbs combined, we should not sink to the middle of the mattress immediately upon getting in. A good nights sleep makes for a better vacation!"
Esther House - Beautiful, Newly Renovated Lakehouse on Paw Paw Lake

"We had such a great stay at Esther House! The location was perfect and my family of 6 adults and 3 young children were able to sleep comfortably inside. The dock was perfect for our boat rental and provided a safe and fun area for my toddlers to swim while we relaxed at the house. Note that the house does use well water, which was a bit challenging for filling/cleaning bottles for our infant, but the grocery store was close by and we were able to easily & regularly restock water. Really enjoyed the property. Thanks!!"
