This property was a last minute booking after having a terrible night at a different hotel. They were so accommodating and helpful here. My kids and I enjoyed the smaller waterpark feel of Surfari Joes. It was just enough for enjoyment, but not as overwhelming as those larger parks. I will be planning another trip here soon!

all the staff is extremely friendly. Hotel is clean and well kept. I understand that you have to pay more for the water park on Friday,Saturday,and Sunday, But was there during the week and was not aware that the hot tub and pool would be closed. I chose this location because of the hot tub and was unable to use. When booking check to make sure the hot tub and pool are open if you are planning to utilize these amenities.

Beware! The waterpark is not included in your hotel stay. Room was dirty, lights in hallway were so so dark. Pool closed earlier than closing time. Breakfast was nice. Staff at front desk was not professional. Would not go back.

Clean, comfortable with friendly staff. Breakfast was a typical breakfast. The water park is only open Friday, Saturday and Sundays, and for an additional fee from your stay. We knew this going in, but wanted others to be aware. Would stay again, its off the beaten path, and super quiet!

The room itself was ok, the bathroom is where it lacked greatly. Luckily we were there for an event so we didnt spend much time in the rooms. Didn't get to use the waterpark, but according to the staff the room does not come with the Waterpark pass so that will need to be purchased separately. For the price of the hotel definitely NOT worth it. You can stay other places and drive in to the water park and save money.

Check in was great! Staff was super friendly and helpful. The bathroom inside the room could have been cleaned better. There was hair in the shower and some gunk under the sink. The cleaning staff did come daily to check to see if we needed anything. Pool/waterpark area was clean and well maintained. Went during the week so it was pretty quiet. Game room was clean and decent. All games were $1, a couple didn’t work but had no signs. The front desk staff was kind enough to give my kiddos their money back.

Room was clean, staff were friendly, waterpark was great! It’s closed during the week, but they will open it for guests. The large slides don’t run during the week, but my boys had a blast having the waterpark to themselves for 2 days! Breakfast was good and the lobby has an excellent seating area! Great location off 94 and near some good restaurants. Our bathtub wasn’t clean but we just dealt with it since it was a short stay. Otherwise we had an excellent stay.

The staff were welcoming and inviting, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. One thing to note is that the pool is not included with your stay—it costs an additional $45 to use, and it’s only available during certain hours on weekends. Unfortunately, our experience with the owner left a very negative impression. Due to a mistake on the hotel’s part, we were placed in the wrong room. Instead of acknowledging the error and apologizing, the owner was confrontational with my husband and even threatened to call the police. Thankfully, the other staff members handled the situation professionally, apologized, and quickly corrected the mistake. In hospitality, taking responsibility and treating guests with respect goes a long way. While we appreciated the efforts of the staff who resolved the issue, the owner’s response left us with bad feelings about our stay. We had planned to book this hotel again next season for our tournament and recommend it to other families, but after this experience, we’ll be looking elsewhere.
