  • Our luxury cottages are perfectly placed for tranquility and adventure set in the beautiful countryside of North West Durham.

    Only 20 minutes drive will take you to the world heritage site of Durham City and 30 minutes into Newcastle, with the most welcoming of Geordie hospitality.

    Both cities are noted for their stunning architecture along with superb restaurants and traditional pubs. There are many local attractions for all ages within a good walk or a short drive.

    The cottage is ground floor ideal for those with access needs or with small children. There is one bedroom with a sofa bed in the lounge which is suitable for additional guests who may be visiting you for a short stay (no extra charge)
    The bathroom has a large walk in shower as well as a bath. A portable shower stool is provided for those who have additional accessible needs. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a welcome pack ready for your arrival.

    The cottage has its own large patio area along with patio furniture, washing line and Barbecue.
    There is ample on site gated parking with CCTV and easy access to the cottage - no steps.
    There is access to the country lane direct from the cottage which can be the start and end to some very nice walks.

    We welcome dogs to the cottage the cost is £20 per dog Only 1 large/med or 2 small well behaved dogs allowed. Dogs registered under the dangerous dos act are strictly prohibited There is a fenced dedicated dog exercise area.
    We also offer a 15% discount code for Beamish outdoor Museum where dogs are welcome, message me for more information.
    Please note we do not allow fireworks
