River Rock is located in the Comanche Crossing subdivision with river frontage. It is a large five bedroom four bath home that sleeps 22. But the inside is not the best part of this rental. The best part awaits outside. With great views of the river from the covered porch this home offers lots to do outside. The best place to be to getaway and unplug. It has a fire pit for late night conversations and smore making. It has horseshoes and volleyball for those that still have the energy after a day on the river. Right outside the back door is a great area for the kids to play which makes this home great for the family with kids.

Fantastic Eclipse Weekend

The River Rock property was just what we were hoping it would be. All 13 of us had a great time and the eclipse was the icing on the cake. Great outdoor area which includes a firepit. Plenty of outside seating where we enjoyed our meals. Some of our group made the patio their temporary office on Monday morning while we waited for the eclipse. Many trips were made down to the river which was just outside the backdoor. The Frio Family Getaway staff were very responsive anytime we had a question or needed something during our stay.

Wonderful getaway

We werent aware of the requirement to bring your own towels or bed sheets/ pillowcases until this was booked.. so it doesn't say it in the listing. We had 12 people going so it was shocking that this wasn't provided, but we made it work. Everything else was great! We celebrated my son's 16th birthday with some family and a few of his friends. The river was close and there is a lot to do at this house! Definitely will be comibg back.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very pleased with everything; however, you will want to know the clothes dryer is not drying properly. It takes 2 timed cycles and a small load is still slightly damp. Also, the shower nozzle in the downstairs bathroom needs some attention or replacement. Checkout time is 11:00. At 10:55, your cleaning crew arrived and made it known they were not happy we were still there, even though we were turning off lights and in the process of leaving.

Great River Home

The property was situated in a wonder community, directly in the Frio River, in a perfect location, leaving options for your preferred float experience. Plenty of rooms, amenities, activities and fantastic outdoor space to appeal to all age ranges. Thorough instructions were sent well in advance for a seamless check in / check out. I would highly recommend this property and would love to bring our family back annually.
