This is our second time staying at the hotel. The first time we said 5 stars wasn’t enough and after our latest visit, we again were floored and blown away by the exceptional service, food, pool, and overall perfection of the hotel. 6 stars isn’t enough. We’ll be back!

Hotel Belvedere was exquisite! It is full of old world charm, with all the bells and whistles of a modern 4 star hotel. The staff was helpful, welcoming and warm. The food for breakfast was the biggest spread of options we had seen in all the hotels we stayed during our trip. The dinner was also exceptional and for an outstanding price you could get a full-course meal. The pool was our absolute favorite, through what looked like a secret tunnel to a relaxing oasis. The pool is filled with the water from the sea which was a delightful surprise too. We hope to return!

The hotel was beautiful and the pool area was stunning. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. They were helpful in arranging for transportation to and from other locations. The restaurant was excellent as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Belvedere.

Stayed in a suite for two nights. The staff were welcoming upon arrival. The room was very noisy with poor soundproofing. We could hear the conversations of the guests and pets in the next door room. Dining options were limited. Bed was comfortable and the shower was warm, not hot. Wi-Fi was a little slow. Breakfast selection was great and the pool area was lovely. The hotel has a shuttle service to Amalfi which came in handy.

Beautiful property on the cliffs over the ocean. Nice pool with elevator access. Loved our stay there. Right next door (and down a lot of steps to the sea) we got a personal water taxi to Priano. Great views from the water!

Lovely hotel, a bit old school. Great pool and pool side service. Great views across the Med sea. Good sized room, just could do with a little upgrade on the shower and a bathroom door that could be closed and locked too. No in room hot drink making facilities. Unfortunately for us, we were woken either by the adjacent room’s shower or the restaurant’s early morning breakfast preparation. Sounded like things being rolled across the floor. (The restaurant is on the top floor, all rooms are on floors below this.) Food only Ok and we felt too expensive for what it was. Used a local restaurant for most of our dinners. English not so fluent with many staff members and caused us some difficulties. Overall though a great place to relax providing you’re not too close to other, more noisy/ verbose guests.

The Hotel Belvedere has a beautiful view and nice pool area but the staff that works the front desk is aloof at best. The hotel is not located in area where you can get to any other locations without transportation while they provide shuttle into town for a fee it ends at 5:00 pm They do not want to help you leave the property for dinner/ evenings out and make it clear you are a bother for asking. If you do book a taxi, be aware it is not a city taxi but a private driver and it is very, very expensive for a 10 min drive into town- The hotel is also a bit worn around the edges with a terrible ant problem and spotty at best WiFi service- while a beautiful view and nice pool area I wish I had stayed somewhere else .

Caro Anonimo ( the next time we prefer knowing your name)Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.Unfortunately we must point out that you said many inaccuracies.The hotel is very well connected to the other cities of the Coast via public buses which stop right in front of the hotel.So your inference that we make sure to retain guests in the Hotel is completely false. You can use our shuttle until 6pm to go wherever you want and come back with public buses.Furthermore, if you know how to read maps, the location of the hotel is very clearly indicated.Before booking I advise you to carefully evaluate the place where you will go.the taxi is and external service, not an our service!

A Gem on the Amalfi Coast
This hotel is a real hidden gem. Situated snugly into the hillside right on the water and only 10 minutes away from the seaside town of Amalfi. The free parking was a gift from heaven if you know the Amalfi coast and how hard it is to find a place for your car. The room looked out over the water and had a very nice terrace with spectacular views and comfortable chairs. The air conditioning could use an upgrade though. It didn't do a great job cooling down the room. There is a nice and clean salt water (sea water) pool that has waiter service until 6pm. If you dont mind steps, you can go right down to the ocean where they have a platform and direct access into the ocean for an ocean swim in the turquoise blue waters of the Amalfi Coast. But then again, if you dont like steps then Italy is not a place you should vacation. The highlight of this hotel is the staff. Everyone was very helpful and the restaurant is full of distinquised seasoned italian waiters and hosts who are constantly checking to make sure you are comfortable and satiated. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding. A full buffet and seating on the patio overlooking the sea. Dinner was delicious as well. Everything was reasonable and they offered 4 euro shuttle ride per person into Amalfi was much appreciated. They have been constructing a spa on site that hopefully will be finished and ready to enjoy for our next visit.

The location was great for what my wife and I were looking for. Between Amalfi and Positano, near enough that we could easily take a day trip to either city, but far enough away to be buffered from the crowds. The service is excellent, the staff do everything they could to make our stay comfortable. Would stay again.

We got the Junior Suite with an amazing terrace view of the coast line! Pool and ocean dock were both wonderdul. We had a great time. The only downside with the hotel is its location, which we knew prior to booking. Hotel is next to a bus stop (15min bus ride to Amalfi, 35min to Positano). Meal choices are very limited given location (hotel offers lunch and dinner but food not that great). We took bus one night to Positano for dinner but waited 25min for the bus as bus comes every 1hr after 6pm. This is a great hotel for someone wants a great view pool, and a quiet environment at prices cheaper than staying at similar hotels at Positano. If someone wants the comfort of having many restaurants choices and be able to walk back to hotel after a meal, staying at more touristy Positano might be a better choice. Depends on what you want :)

My family of five stayed at the hotel belvedere and had 2 rooms. Our rooms were clean and spacious and very comfortable. We stayed in the family suite, and it had a separate bedroom for my daughter which was very convenient. It had a large terrace with a view of the coastline and into Amalfi. The other room was a junior suite with a large shower. The views and the pool are stunning and absolutely sold me on the hotel. There were plenty of sunbeds and tables available. The poolside service was good. You can order drinks and food. There is an elevator that you can take to the pool deck. I ventured down to the sea once. The stairs were a lot, but it was nice when I got down there. The service at the hotel was outstanding. We ate in the restaurant a few times and it was delicious. The breakfast was fabulous. It had a great variety: eggs, bacon and sausage, pastries, juices, cereals, fresh fruit, and cheeses. The shuttle from the hotel to Amalfi was convenient and always available. Taking a cab back from Amalfi was easy but expensive, 50 euro for a 5-minute cab ride. We split the cost, so it wasn’t as bad. You can take the bus which is much cheaper. If we ever get the opportunity to travel to the Amalfi coast again, we would definitely stay at the Hotel Belvedere!

Great hotel with even better locationQ
Had a few days to spend in Amalfi - initially picked this place due to it being in the middle of Amalfi and Positano. The good - hotel location, parking (free), breakfast (did not have other meals there), VIEWS, pool, and very generous staff. The bad - takes 1.5 hours to get there from Naples, but then again, so does everything along the Amalfi coast.

I never wrote a bad review before, but this particular hotel is not recomended, the staff stole my wife credit card(s) from her wallet, and unfortunately we realize it to late, we left the area already. I called and spoke with the front desk but they never following up. Not recomended.

Amazing hotel and wow what a view!!!
It was amazing staff, are almost as good as the view which is breathtaking. The hotel is situated with a great view an lazing pool with multilayers landings including one at ocean level where you can pop into ocean if you like. Staff at the restaurant and front desk were just awesome to deal with and made you feel tight at home. We will be back!!!

The hotel was beautiful. We had a wonderful room - large - with an ocean front balcony. The pool was lovely although we didn't use it much. We liked spending time down below on the deck by the ocean. The staff was great and we loved the shuttle service for the hotel. Our shuttle driver told us how to catch the bus and take the ferry so that we could take the shuttle to Almalfi, then take the ferry to Positano. We stayed late in Almalfi one night to eat at a Michelin star restaurant and then found it easy to take the bus back to the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel for location, cleanliness, friendly staff and all around great experience.

This property is outstanding , the hotel is gorgeous, old charm and immaculate. The views were stunning from our terrace which we used every morning and evening , stunning views of the sea and mountainsides. There is a beautiful pool accessible by elevator that is also on the side of the coast with stunning views that has bar and food service by two gentleman that manage it, professional and courteous. If staying in Conca dei Marini and you like to swim, a pool is needed, otherwise it’s a long walk to the beach up and down. The only other con is restaurants not easily walkable, there are none , some people walked the road but my wife and I did not feel safe, so we would need a taxi , bus to go anywhere . The hotel has a shuttle that goes to Amalfi for $4 euro per person , just co-ordinate with them , nice perk. I definitely would recommend this hotel. Last note when in area , the best restaurant around is La Bonta Del Capo, call them for a shuttle , we went three times out of six nights , hands down the best.

This is a wonderful place. We celebrated our Silver Wedding anniversary there and everything was perfect. Old world charm (it's like something out of the 50's) but first class service and helpful members of staff. Perfect location, seawater pool and terraces with sea views. Highly recommend.

The view from our room is superb the view from restaurant even better. The staff so friendly and helpful Peppy was fantastic . The food was some of the best we had in Italy. we loved the menu options changing every day. They had parking. They booked tours for us. the decor was so nice, floors were beautiful tile. It's worth going just to experience the professional caring wait staff, truly a model for any restaurant anywhere.

Staff were very polite, friendly and keen to help. The shuttle service to Amalfi is helpful. The Wi-fi needs to improve as it was impossible to gain access from the room. There is a fantastic pool but it should be open until 8pm and not close at 6pm. Easier to use tv system should be made available!

The views and wait staff on this property were amazing and we enjoyed our stay. it was quiet and beautiful, and at the center of the amalfi coast. the big issue for me is when we went to leave the concierge was confused and attempted to charge us again for funds we already paid for through expedia. all of the hassle of explaining and finally when the other conceirge (i think his name was fabio- one of the great ones) explained to him we would not be charged further. this caused us to miss our flight since the distance from the airport is an hour and a half away, took us an extra two houra to get to the airport. we would spend an extra day and funds for hotel in naples.

We would not recommend this property for several reasons. After reading so many positive reviews, we were confident in our selection, but we’re quickly disappointed after several issues. 1. The room was not clean. There were bugs everywhere, the floor was never clean and the previous occupant’s garbage was left on the night table. 2. We tried to arrange for transportation for our flight 2 days in advance. We verified with them 3 times leading up to the day and the morning of. They confirmed each time. When it was time for us to leave, there was no taxi and we were 45 minutes late leaving the hotel. This left us stressed and nervous when we should have been better taken care of. 3. Location. While it is removed from the center area where it is very crowded, it is very difficult to get anywhere off the hotel without taking a bus or their shuttle. The hotel offers bus tickets and you can be taken right outside the hotel, but they never had the tickets we needed. They continued to sell us the more expensive bus tickets for a longer distance because they didn’t have the cheaper ones available for sale. 4. Noise. You have to stay below the main lobby level, which means you hear everything. From early set ups for breakfast, to people walking around and checking in. We barely slept the entire time we were there and could constantly hear others. Two pros were the breakfast pastries were delicious and the view was beautiful. Other than that, it was a pretty awful stay.

Well maintained. Absolutely beautiful location and views. Even with all the beauty around you, the staff was still the best part of this hotel. Top notch.
