Unique room

Very quaint and unique. Staff was very friendly, attentive and helpful. Their restaurant was amazing! Central location was perfect. Would definitely recommend.

Rumi Rooms was amazing! So incredibly happy with everything about the property and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable and service was amazing. Restaurant downstairs is also a must visit - food was fantastic!

Rumi Rooms was perfect for us! The room was nice, big and had everything we needed. The staff of San Fedele Latteria were all very kind and super helpful. Food in San Fedele Latteria is just phantastic (soo delicious) and Rumi Rooms is in the old town where you have the possibility to shop food, clothes and lots of other stuff. I can highly recommend Rumi Rooms.

Very nice room in a great spot, convenient to the lake and central Como. Our stay was dampened by rain the whole time, but a beautiful city with lots of dining options and nice shops next to a beautiful lake!!

Comfy bed, quiet with the patio door closed. Great bathroom and lovely shower. Had everything we needed. Free coffee machine to make drinks in reception area.

The rooms themselves are fine -- clean and well appointed. The location is great. The main limitation is that it is not a traditional hotel with a front desk, but they make that clear up-front.

Cute rooms and kinda interesting that the suites are located in the restaurant. bad part is that you can hear all the people outside in the plaza area. wouldn't recommend if you are trying rest and sleep very noisy

Overall the space was very quaint, neat and spacious . The location is perfect for walking to restaurants or waterfront. Beds were more comfortable here than many places we have been The room is above the restaurant so the noise can be loud and go quite late as well there are no light blocking blinds on the windows so your up with the sun.

I was looking to stay at boutique type of hotel with a good access to the City and Rumi Rooms was exactly what I was looking for. The room was very clean and view of our window was amazing. They have a very nice restaurant at the ground floor with an excellent food. The hotel is located at the City with 20 min walk to the train station.

Great Location in Como, Italy

We had a great stay at Rumi Rooms in Como, Italy! The hotel is located in the heart of the old-town of Como, and is a convenient walk to shopping, restaurants, and the Lake Como Ferry. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was very comfortable and had great air conditioning! Our only complaint was that the bed was a bit too soft for us, but might not be for others. Don’t pass up the restaurant that is co-located at the property. We had a great meal there!

Quirkily decorated and very comfortable rooms above a restaurant. Hosts very nice. Quieter than I expected, considering proximity of busy restaurant. Coffee and tea available, along with wrapped pastry, but there are better breakfast options in immediate neighborhood. Wifi pretty weak, but you probably aren’t coming to Lake Como for the wifi. Not quite lakefront, but a few minutes’ walk to ferry terminal and the lake.

Great that coffee and tea and snacks are provided. But the air conditioner was barely working and when it’s 30+ degrees this is unpleasant. Definitely a higher score if this is fixed. Location is fine. We had a balcony looking into the restaurant which is super fun. But overall too hot to be enjoyable.

Everything exceeded our expectations. The many thoughtful extras were lovely, especially for my teen daughter who enjoyed having Nutella readily available! We felt safe and comfortable. Housekeeping was kind and top notch. I read a few complaints before I booked about the rooms being above the restaurant. This was not an issue at all and in fact added to the local charm. Yes there’s some street noise but Como is “the city” of Lake Como and is a fantastic, lively hub of joy and charm and Italian life. I’d change nothing about this delightful inn. It was everything we wanted.

Wonderful stay at this guesthouse - rooms were clean, comfortable and bright, with some thoughtful design touches. The exterior is really pretty, with the property being a bit hidden away on a corner shared with other restaurants. The location was great, everywhere is walkable. The staff are kind and friendly and the restaurant downstairs opens for lunch and dinner - I didn’t eat there but friends who did were happy! There’s nowhere on-site to sit for breakfast but there are a few nearby cafes and a brunch place (Babi) if you want some eggs! The free flowing complimentary water was much appreciated in the heatwave we had. I left feeling like the team behind Rumi Rooms really care about the property and experience of the guests. I was very happy, thank you! PS. If you are an early sleeper you might notice the street chatter from the restaurant, but it dies down quickly after around midnight.

Perfect location and great clean stay!

Great find! Perfect location near a busy piazza, and the boat docks/lake. A little unconventional as you have to enter thru a restaurant then up some stairs to the 4 rooms available. There’s no elevator. Rooms are great. Spacious, and clean. Modern with a great shower/bathroom. Plenty of space to sprawl out. There is limited breakfast. I only had the Nespresso coffee as there was only a brioche in plastic for breakfast. So Id go elsewhere for that. You’re basically on your own here which is great BUT at the end I needed some help getting a taxi early for my flight and nobody was around and nobody called me back. Cars can’t enter the area near the rooms so you’ll have to schlep your suitcases a little ways to a taxi stand. And hope there’s a taxi on Sunday morning! I found an Uber finally and managed. It was 160 euros for that vs a taxi which is cheaper. But I couldn’t chance not finding a taxi as I had a big suitcase and carry on to lug around. If you want hand holding this isn’t the place but it IS a great find and I’d definitely go back again but this time I’d be ready for it. I would highly recommend it if you want a clean comfortable place close to everything in Como!

Great place to stay while in Lake Como! We are in the center/heart of it all! Unique place, above the owners restaurant, clean, super cute and an incredible staff! Its a must for sure!! We loved our time there!! Would book again for a future stay!! You won't be disappointed!
