"The property is located in a safe and quiet neighborhood. Its located near to all you need for shopping and dining. The unit is comfortable and was cleaned well with everything you needed for a good stay. I definitely recommend and will look into staying again. "

"The facility is contemporary and nicely updated. The room and breakfast area were spotless (and I'm verrry picky).I was on the 9th floor and had a very quiet and peaceful night. The self serve breakfast had ample choices to please all.
The only negative comment is the location, its not ideal. A little sketchy with panhandling and homeless a few blocks away. I won't walk to/from the hotel."
"The staff from the front door, the cleaning crew and restaurant personnel were exceptional. I stayed while recuperating from a week stay in the hospital and they were very kind"
"Beautiful property. Very convenient and walkable. I lived in the neighborhood for many years and chose to stay here during a recent trip back to Ft Lauderdale. Always something to do in the area. Funky Fish Shuttles made it very easy to get around."
"The Pelican Grand Beach Resort has some of the most beautiful & spacious rooms I’ve ever stayed in—large, well-decorated, & very comfortable. A special thank you to Merline at the front desk, who graciously welcomed us upon our early arrival around noon. She was professional, courteous, & delightful, & we truly appreciated being able to check in early. The restaurant staff, bellhops, & gift shop/gelato store team were all equally warm, helpful, & attentive, which added to the overall positive experience.
Another bonus to the location of the resort is that the # 11 public transportation bus runs on the A1A or N. Ocean Blvd. The cost to ride the bus is $2.
Please keep in mind that there is a $52 per night resort fee as well as valet parking on site runs $55 per night for regular vehicles.
Even though renting a car in Fort Lauderdale would be highly recommended, the high parking fee makes that expense unfeasible.
That said, there were a couple of disappointments. The Lazy River was out of order during our visit, which was a letdown since it’s one of the highlights of the resort. With that closed, the pool (which is not very large) felt crowded. In addition, we stayed in Room 322, and I would caution future guests about rooms 312–322. They are located near the service elevators, and beginning as early as 7 a.m., the loud rolling of carts and towel bins across the tile floors made it difficult to rest. More attention to minimizing noise in that area would go a long way."
