Details we loved: there was a bottle of good white wine offered to us, if we had a question, like “where can we buy some good wine”, we got their personal list of vineyards and when we ware all admiring the water wheel, the owner took the effort of removing the top cover so we could enjoy the wheel turning. Lovely people!...

"A spacious and comfortable house in a beautiful and peaceful location overlooking a canal. There is plenty of outdoor space and you can enjoy walks along the canal. The owners, who live next door, are exceptionally kind and helpful. Highly recommended, especially for families."

"...das traumhaft schön direkt am Canal du Nivernais liegt. Wir haben die Tage dort sehr genossen. Das Haus wurde von den Eigentümern selbst liebevoll renoviert, restauriert und modernisiert. Wie groß die Leistung der Eigentümer ist, erfasst man erst, wenn man sich das im Haus befindliche Fotobuch ansieht. So sind Haus und Garten sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und gestaltet. Ein gemütliches Wohnzimmer mit einem großen Esstisch, einer gemütlichen Couch und bequemen Sesseln lädt zum Wohlfühlen...

"We loved our stay at the house, lovely long garden and super pool (after we asked for it to be cleaned). The outside covered eating and bbq area was perfect. This is a “shabby chic” property with an unpredictable oven and NO air conditioning. But still a lovely family home."

"Tout y etait . Nous avons ptis possession des lieux yres rapidement. Nous nous sommes détendus dans la piscine au fur et à mesure des arrivées. Les journées secsont déroulées merveilleuses bien (piscine barbecue, football, boules, soirées dansantes et egalement visite à la ferme pour les petits et vélos rails pour les plus grands). De plus la météo nous a été favorable d'où quelque coups de soleil. A conseiller pour des retrouvailles en famille."

"Je dis que souvent le hasard fait bien les choses et bien c'est vrai !J'ai trouvé cette maison par hasard et nous y avons passé un séjour formidable. Mais il ne faut pas perdre de vue que nous sommes dans la campagne et qu'il ne faut pas y venir pour faire la "teufe"!Nous avons aimé la maison qui nous rappelait l'ambiance de la maison des grands parents, tout est calme, paisible, rassurant. La chambre du bas avec salle de douche et WC est parfaite pour éviter aux plus âgés de grimper...

"We thoroughly enjoyed a 2 night stay at this beautiful boutique hotel. We stayed in Suite Le Ceramique which is furnished and decorated to a very high standard with great style and attention to detail which echos throughout, from the quality of the furniture and linen, to all the accessories from shower products, music speaker, coffee to wineglasses. The bed was super comfortable and the en-suite, which is cleverly located behind the bed, is very spacious and is complete with free standing bath, huge double shower and a double sink unit. We had a breakfast basket every morning which is lovingly prepared with fresh bread and pastries, jam and home made honey, fresh coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. Again the attention that is paid to the presentation is outstanding. The suites sit above the owners snack bar, which although we didn’t eat in is exquisitely decorated and always smelt amazing! The location is central in Sancerre and there are restaurants, shops and wine tasting opportunities right on the door step. The suite was presented and cleaned to a very high standard and we would definitely return and recommend to others."

"We booked to go and do some wine tasting in the region. We booked with Nicole and were not disappointed, a beautiful French house, great hostess who did everything she could for us. Nicole arranged dinner, a private wine testing and parking during our stay. Would 100% recommend and we will be back in years to come for the hospitality and wine. "
