"Very friendly and attentive staff but that's about it. The mattress on our bed felt like it was just springs. We asked to move rooms for a better bed but were told all the beds are the same. The room itself was very tired looking and in need of updating and had an odd smell. The bathroom was clean but the shower frequently ran out of hot water and failed to drain fast enough so had to frequently turn off to stop from overflowing. The breakfast was basic but not amazing quality with a bad tasting vat of instant coffee on hand. Cappuccinos could be made on request which was a saving grace. The location of the hotel was perfect it's just a shame it's been left to deteriorate, it could be great with some updates. "

"Clean rooms, great view. On site parking very very expensive and the most expensive drinks at the pool side.41 Euros for x2 g&t which was not the best experience. On site restaurant lovely food but again very expensive. A similar but local restaurant down the roadside equally nice and at least you’re paying a local person. Good hotel, clean, nice staff and hotel with a view but your paying a high price "

"This hotel has amazing views of bellagio. We are well traveled folks and can not remember a more breathtaking view than this hotel offers . Staff was incredible and very friendly providing answers to all our questions and request . Hotel offers a very convenient free courtesy shuttle service to the bellagio town center . This is the place to stay when visiting bellagio ."

"We loved so many things about hotel excelsior, the breakfast was good, the staff was outstanding, the stair rugs could have been vacuumed more often but overall the hotel was clean, the reason I gave the overall score as 3 is the bed . The mattress was very uncomfortable and the pillows were in need of being replaced as they were all pretty flat, no fluff at all. "
