Set on the waterfront with direct beach access you can relax and enjoy 180 degree views of the spectacular Hazards mountain range and Great Oyster Bay.
This is unbeatable! From the back gate at the waterfront side of the property, you are a two minute walk from the secluded Richardson’s Beach set in the world renowned Freycinet National Park. This is a fabulous swimming beach perfect for families. In the other direction, a 5 minute walk takes you to an excellent, well stocked supermarket, a post office and a wood-fire pizza restaurant and cafe.
The beach house is light and spacious with high cathedral wooden ceilings over an open planned living area where you can enjoy the spectacular views of the sea and Hazards mountain range. Whilst it has been modernised and updated with flair it maintains the relaxed, beach holiday atmosphere of the original 60s shack.
A modern, fully equipped kitchen adjoins the open planned living space with a blackwood dining table that comfortably seats 8 people. The wood heater creates a cosy environment during the cooler months and a BBQ on the deck can be enjoyed over summer.
The first bedroom is on the ground level and has a queen sized bed, modern light fittings and two bedside tables. From this room you can enjoy views of the sea and a door provides direct access to the balcony.
The second bedroom is also on the ground floor and has a double bed, modern light fittings and a bedside table.
The third bedroom is a bunk room downstairs suitable for older children or adults. There are two sets of bunks. A door allows direct access to the back garden.
There is one newly renovated modern bathroom on the ground floor. A second toilet is easily accessible just at the entrance of the house under cover.
Coles Bay is nestled in the world renowned Freycinet National Park. It is a must on any trip to Tasmania and its unique location offers a wide range of activities to suit all interests.

We had a fabulous time staying in this lovely beach property with the best views in Coles Bay. Was beautifully clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Would definitely recommend!
We loved the location. House had lovely views and a short walk to the shops and beach. It was very quiet. Able to watch the birds in the tree tops. Great spot for visiting the park. Comfortable and clean house. Supplies for the fire provided which was lovely in the evening. Would stay again.

The most amazing view!
We loved the amazing view from the lounge room, absolutely breath taking. The home is in a great location, close to the Wineglass Bay walks. The home was very clean and we had everything we needed.
Lovely views of the area however the bedrooms were slightly on the smaller size and the beds themselves a little too firm. The possums that reside in the roof and then proceed to ‘party’ at 4am were a little upsetting. Other than that it was fine.
Perfect location with only short walks to either the beach or shops/food.
Amazing views
Kitchen and bathroom renovated
Downstairs wasn’t that great for kids due to the steep stairs but apart from that the house matched the description.
Loved the location of the property as it was close to the National Park for the walks. Great to relax in the lounge area with an incredible view of the Hazards.
Beautiful location and easy access to national park
The home is a bit dated but has a great location that is super close to the National Park. The house also has great access our the back to a nearby beach.
