"The hotel is a gem in the middle of the French Quarter. It has a combination of classic elegance and modern conveniences that hit you as soon as you walk in. The rooms are very modern with all types of lifting controls including motion sensors under the bed that turn on soft lights if you get up in the middle of the night. The staff was friendly and ultra professional. It was a high class vibe in walking distance to most sights."

"Room was moderately clean. Floor was so uneven that you were walking down hill when you left the bed. Very noisy. Slow elevators. Key didn’t work when we arrived. "

"We arrived at 3am as the flight was delayed, I texted the front desk to let them know, the night manager responded. We were told the room was over booked and we were staying in the Sheraton across the road in New Orleans. Fortunately because I had let them know the situation they suddenly found us a room ….. free breakfast was comped the next morning, a nice gesture for the misinformed night staff that were working that evening! Overall the room amenities were good, comfy bed and pillows, blackout curtains and a lovey illuminated mirror in the bathroom, we only used the room to sleep and shower."

"This is a great place to stay in New Orleans. Very well located as it is easy walking distance to some of the different neighborhoods. I liked that it wasn’t in the French Quarter because then it was a bit quieter. The room was great. And was actually fairly quiet most of the time. The breakfast buffet was a good deal as well. Lots of options and way more than just a continental breakfast. The only things that weren’t great was that the pullout bed had a pretty bad mattress. And there was no cleaning during our five day stay. But maybe that was something we just needed to ask for. All the staff were really fantastic and super helpful and made us stay great. I would definitely stay here again."

"The staff at the Virgin is top notch. Everyone is so helpful and nice. The rooms are very clean and super comfortable. The location is great…don’t miss the art galleries on Julia Street"
