"lovely clean warm room with large bathroom. Well provisioned with water ,teas and coffees. Very attentive staff who made sure we were fed and watered. We have now used the Black bull twice for stay overs and cant fault it. Easy parking, great bar and tasty ,quality food."

"Lovely cosy cottage with gorgeous views. Owner was really friendly checking we’d settled in ok. Great location (as long as you have car) to get to nearby towns and attractions. Shame there wasn’t a pub within walking distance (as the road was too risky to walk on at night), however, the food and staff at the local pub in Yetholm (approx 1.5mile) were lovely and welcoming and food great! The only criticism I’d have of the cottage is that the bathroom and some decor could do with updating, however...
