An older motel that's been well done up wth great beds and pillows. Spacious room. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Easy walk to town centre. Some noise from highway

Our room got changed to a different one what we booked. The bed was terrible mattress was not good every time you moved in bed it made very loud noises we didn't get much sleep.

It was value for money. The room was quiet and large. The high rain shower meant that you couldn’t shower with out getting your hair wet. It was too high. Under the lounge cushions were dirty and needed a vacuum. I would be happy to stay again.

Staff very friendly and courteous. Shower hardly had any water pressure and tap handles were nearly falling off. Shower door did not close properly and the TV constantly pixelated.

Cheerful & helpful but expensive
We stayed in a pet-friendly room. Service was excellent and the pope, who greeted us was cheerful and helpful. We stayed on New Year's Eve while driving back to Melbourne from Queensland. The room was extremely expensive and we had to use Hotels.com reward to get the price down to a reasonable level. Would not stay there again at these prices.

Room was comfortable however the traffic noise from the highway meant a disturbed night. Also tv noise from adjoining room could be heard. This was a concern at 4.15am.

Everything was excellent except for parking. There was hardly shy parking available, spaces were very congested and even though it said only one car per room, people had parked trailers etc holding more than one spot. It was very hard to get in and out of the Carpark. We were always worried about hitting other parked cars.

It’s wonderful they are pet friendly but only the first 4 rooms at the front which is about 20 mtrs from the highway. Too noisy even with ear plugs trucks up and down hill changing gears. Even my dogs couldn’t sleep.

Great service from the owners. Our two elderly dogs enjoyed their 2 day rest stop as well. Ample walking areas for the dogs, great cafes within walking distance as well. Had a lovely meal in the motel restaurant as well. Overall we enjoyed our time at the Zebra, we'll be coming back.
