No complaints about the room, bed or en suite, with all being clean, comfortable etc. Great breakfasts provided if required. "We stayed 3 nights. The staff were extremely helpful. Our booked room was in annexe beside kitchen conditioning units with jet engine noise levels. Obviously unacceptable. We were given alternative accommodation which was particularly pleasant and quiet. This may not always be available, so anyone booking needs to check if they expect a quiet night. Very good breakfast"

"The Lion Inn was a last minute booking but it did not disappoint. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The food was served hot. The breakfast was cooked to order and was a great welsh breakfast. The rooms were cosy but with a boutique hotel theme. Public areas were clean there was parking available with tables outside. The village was lovely too and the location made easy access to Montgomery and Welshpool. A great base for people touring that area. Wish we could have booked for longer. We would definitely visit again and would recommend the inn to anyone in the area. They also accept dogs which is good for any owners visiting the area"

We were able to park right outside the door to our room which was well equipped and comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to others."

"Lovely hotel tucked out of the way of Ludlow, but a pleasant short stroll away. Ample parking. Very nice breakfast and all of the staff were exceptional, they really did make our stay better. Our dog was treated as well as any resident (if not better!) Highly recommended and will definitely stay again in future."
