"Quiet hotel situated in a very peaceful environment.
Check in was relatively fast and efficient. We were taken to our room by the receptionist. Our room was situated on the first floor and was well designed and decorated.
After a long trip we had a quick swim at the swimming pool and enjoyed it.
Coming back to the room we were intrigued by the way the towels were displayed in the bathroom and we thought well that is perhaps the way they do it.
We had an excellent diner at the restaurant, each...

There's also a separate shared kitchenette and fridge/freezer for guests which is handy so you can prep a picnic or make a salad or pasta for dinner in the garden. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. We had a great time."

"What an exceptional stay! It was perfect! Authentically French! Richard and Sophie have updated this chateau to a warm, cozy and inviting accommodation, paying attention to every detail. From the beautiful landscape and the history of the home to the home grown gardens to the charming pets, large and small, it just does not get any better. Richard is the perfect host from a exquisite French breakfast every morning, then helping us to plan our day and generously making the perfect dinner reservations at a variety of local bistros and restaurants that they frequent themselves, he was so generous with his hospitality and vivacious enthusiasm everyday!! We stayed for 4 nights and our entire stay was authentic in every way. The accommodations were very clean, comfortable, charming and cozy. We hope to return someday soon!! Thank you Richard for truly making our visit to the Loire better than we could have ever expected! A bientôt! We love Colivault!"
