"There was nothing special about this room - other than its proximity to the beach. I felt like the kitchen was lacking, there was no broom (there is now - I left the one I purchased), and the guest bed fell at some point during each evening of our stay. There is a good view of one of the pools, but the property is pretty dated."

"Resort was great! Clean rooms- clean grounds & friendly staff. Rather you want to relax on the beach or in/by a pool you have options. Lots of activities & things to do. You do not need to rent a car, if you are looking to relax. The city has free rides- provide tip only- to get you to local places. Plus stores, restaurants, coffee, ice cream shops are walking distance. "

"Everything was great! Staff was wonderful, beach was close and being able to rend an umbrella and chairs was nice. Having fishing poles available for my kids was AWESOME!! Great location!! Only part that we had trouble with was the sofa bed it was broken had it fixed but it was still folding up weird. I also wish pool was open later than sunset. "

"I specifically booked my stay at St Pete Shores Hotel the night before my half marathon because I wanted a relaxing, stress-free environment near the ocean. Unfortunately, my experience was the exact opposite. From the moment I arrived, I had ongoing issues with my room key not working. After multiple attempts and repeated trips to get it resolved, I explained the situation to maintenance, expecting assistance. Instead, I was met with accusations that I was being dishonest in order to get a different room, which was both unprofessional and frustrating. The lack of basic customer service and the way this situation was handled completely overshadowed what should have been a calm and important night before my race. I would not recommend staying here, especially if you’re expecting a smooth and accommodating experience."

"The hotel is lovely, but they have some challenges that affected my stay and my overall opinion of the property. We waited 45 minutes in line to check in due to a system shutdown. The toilet in our room cycled all night, keeping us up, and requiring a room change. The hotel then didn’t recognize our prepaid room and charged me again for the room nights, pulling the funds from my bank account and adding undue charges to my credit card. It was an unfortunate experience that will prevent me from wanting to stay there again, which is disappointing because I love the location and beauty of the building. "

"I enjoyed my stay here but the part of the hotel we stayed in was old. Dim lighting in the bathroom, I could see light coming from under our door which opened to the strip so noise was at premium, old carpet. But the beach view was great and it was a very convenient location within walking distance to grocery store and restaurants. Loved it that they let you take beach chairs and towels to the beach. I would stay here again but probably after they renovate the tower, where I stayed, which the manager said is coming up in the future. "
