"Great hotel and staff, but the Denny’s across the street is an open air drug market with lots of sketchy people hanging around."

"This hotel is in a very walkable area, I walked most placed I visited during my trip. Lots of coffee shops near by and restaurants. They gave me a $10 credit per night to get food and drinks from the bar. It's not enough to cover much entirely but definitely helped. I enjoyed my stay here and enjoyed people watching from the balcony. It does suck that there is no smoking on the balcony though as the hotel is smoke-free. "

"Place was neat and clean. Very conveniently located smack in the downtown area. Lots of restaurants and stores nearby. Easy accesss to public transportation too. "

"The section I was assigned to was an older room that had been upgraded. The street light was directly outside the window and the drapes were too thin to block the light. The bathroom light was connected to the very LOUD fan which you could hear from other rooms. Air conditioning. And on and off like most upgraded hotel/motels. The $12 credit was laughable. Absolutely nothing that I would eat or use, cup of noodles and Rice Krispie treats? Seriously. It was cheap as I was on a quick trip, but would not recommend."

"Large corner room with fab view (#603) incredible brunch, gorgeous lobby. Driftwood room is a storied bar with tons of atmosphere. Downtown locale was perfect for our two nights in Portland."
