"Jan and Darren were excellent hosts - they were very welcoming and took time to talk to their guests; they were interested and interesting. This helped to create a relaxed atmosphere between the guests as well. The room was clean, cosy and comfortable and everything we needed was on hand. Breakfasts were really lovely and a real departure from the normal fare offered. All in all a really lovely stay - many thanks."

"We had a lovely few days here at Misty Isles Cottage. It was a perfect location for us. Far from crowds and offered a peaceful place to unwind. The hot tub was a great opportunity to relax and had amazing views. The photos of the tub doen't do it justice for its location! The light on this bay is spectacular, whether its a sunny bright morning or a duller misty morning, the beauty cannot be described. The cottage was cosy, warm and inviting and had all the amenities we needed for the week. We checked on departure if there was any availability for another 3 nights! We would love to come back! Thank you Peter and Kirsty."

"Well appointed, cosy cottage with really handy utility area for coats and boots. Kitchen was well equipped with a coffee pod machine but I took my own cafetiÃ¨re. Cottage was warm when the heating was in but cooled quickly as it was December so to stay comfortable the extra electric charges do impact on the cost of your stay. I loved the village, very friendly with plenty of places to walk the dog including an enclosed shinty pitch. Hop on the ferry to Easedale, Kerrera and Luing such a lovely area"
