"We were on a cycling trip. Check in was easy and the staff very helpful in locking away our bikes in a secure location. The beds were very comfortable and showers hot! "The first night we stayed we would award top marks, but on or return 4 days later the second room was not as good. It was not as clean, the shower screen support was loose, the tv was hanging and not working properly. The furniture on the terrace was very dirty, we cleaned it before we could sit down. We were served a meal in our room, but thought that the dirty dishes would be removed, but they remained until we signed out"

"The room in Fontevraud L'Ermitage was pleasant, it was clean and the beds were good. Perfect for 2 or 3 nights. The room was quite warm in August, there were fans but they made little difference. We also missed having a seat. We were with 4 people, so sometimes we had to wait for each other. Don’t go for the breakfast, the selection is very limited and we found it very disappointing for the price."
