This is an excellent choice for seeing Saumur. It is in an old building with a lot of character. My room was large, with wooden beamed ceiling, tall windows that opened, and a limestone fireplace I wish I had in my home. Ensuite had shower and had plenty of space. Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and quite helpful. The hotel is part of a very large restaurant with good food and good service. It is in the main shopping and dining area, and within a short walk to the Chateau, which is the major attraction of Saumur. I would like to stay there again.

Un hôtel bien placé dans le centre historique, bon petit-déjeuner et bon lit. Service et accueil agréable. Chambre refaite de façon trop économique. Et ça ne suffit pas à effacer l'âge de l'établissement. Du coup, pas forcément un bon rapport qualité prix.

Belle chambre , joli décors à l’ancienne, bcp de charme . Chambres aux étages. Bonne literie . SDB : bien sans plus. Excellent petit déjeuner : produits de qualité. Très bon accueil. Possibilité de dîner : un peu cher mais c’est bon. Je recommande !

A fuir, une catastrophe

Une chambre charmante d'aspect, mais le ménage laisse réellement à désirer. Pommeau de douche à changer, distributeur de savon qui tombe lors de la douche, de la poussière partout (téléphone de la chambre, tête de lit, tables de chevet....) une catastrophe. Le chauffage n'était pas en fonction. Appel à la réception 2 fois on nous raccroche au nez... Les serviettes rêches et très fines... C'est très bien de demander un supplément quand on vie t avec un chien, mais il faudrait s'assurer de la propriété de la chambre et du bon fonctionnement des équipements.

Godt plassert, meget bra restaurant

Trang og bratt trappe. Går fint med lite bagasje. Rommet var stor og med god utsikt. Sengene var bra. Ingen klimaanlegg eller kjøleskap som forventet i et 2 stjerne hotel. Men en god vifter som var nødvendig ved 37° utetemperatur. Personalet var vennlig. Det var mulighet for å ha sykler i en garasje. Tilknyttet restaurant var meget bra. Vi likte oss der.

Très déçus, absence de ménage et d'entretien !

Aspirateur non passé à notre arrivée, moquette remplie de tâches, ménage douteux de la salle de bain/sanitaires, 3 mugs le matin au petit-déjeuner avant d'en trouver un "propre", etc.... Dommage, l'hôtel est bien situé et la chambre spacieuse. Le personnel n'est pas désagréable. Mais cela ne suffit pas, nous ne reviendrons pas dans cet hôtel....

Sweet hotel with a good restaurant menu. Friendly obliging staff on the whole comfortable room and good shower in a small bathroom. Nice views across the river and convenient for shops bars and restaurants. Be warned no lift and there are 4 floors with a very narrow staircase!

Hôtel Vieillot sanitaires démodés pas très clean, moquettes du couloir pleines de tâches. Environnement hyper. Bruyant et chambre sans clim, en pleine canicule, un désastre. En période de Covid, chambre pas aérée, à revoir.

Notre chambre située au premier étage vue sur Loire avait avant tout vue sur les bars au rez de chaussée et les parkings.. Impossible de s'endormir avant 2h du matin, même fenêtres fermées. Je déconseille pour ma part de réserver en weekend donc. Aucun geste commercial après en avoir fait part au personnel.

No dispone de ascensor y la escalera es pequeña. Ventilador de poca potencia que no enfría el ambiente. Muy bien ubicado. Desayuno continental bueno. Se puede aparcar en la calle con tarifa ORA. La carta de restauración de la habitación no se corresponde con la finalmente ofertado en restaurante muy bueno

Ottimo ristorante, stanze essenziali. Abbiamo chiesto una camera fronte fiume e c’è ne hanno assegnato una piuttosto bassa al mezzanino (con porte decisamente pericolose per eventuali testate). Comunque abbiamo dormito bene nonostante il caldo torrido e l’inevitabile rumorosità della zona (non di notte).
