The domaine is close to the river and the small town of Branne, well located to get to Saint Emilion and a few other nice villages. Most of all though we just enjoyed relaxing on site on the terrace and pool. We also loved the miniature donkeys! Just so you know when booking, the jacuzzi and sauna are not included and cost an extra €75 per session."

It was an absolute delight to stay with Nathalie and Olivier who have lovingly restored the Chateau. They were charming hosts and made the stay one to remember. The renovation of the chateau provides a modern and spacious room that has also retained the charm of the old building. The meals were delightful and prepared by the hosts using fresh local produce. I'd thoroughly recommend Malis Castera to anyone wanting to stay in the wine region.

What a beautiful surprise and warm welcome at this chambre d'hotes in Puisseguin. Pre dinner, we enjoyed a wine tasting at the gite with the other guests with interesting commentary by our lovely host, Franziska. Then dined out at a recommended neighbouring restaurant. The gite is located in a very pretty rural setting surrounded by vineyards. Was relaxing to sit by the pool after a day's driving. Delicious breakfast in the morning with the other guests.
