"Le clos d'Emilion" Charming renovated gîte near Saint Emilion
The vacation home "Le figuier" of Clos d'Emilion is adjacent to our house, which has been completely renovated and tastefully furnished to offer all modern comforts. You have a fully equipped kitchen at your disposal. The shared garden with its pool, BBQ, fryer and plancha offers you a garden kitchen. The fruit trees offer you sunny or shady places to rest, we have installed sun loungers.
"Le clos d'Emilion" is located 5 minutes from the village of Saint Emilion, a few steps from the Dordogne.
The accommodation:
The fully equipped kitchen offers you all the comforts of everyday life, 4 gas hobs, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and NESPRESSO machine with filter and robot. The accommodation offers 70m² with two bedrooms (beds 2.00m x 2.00m and 1.90m x 2.00m as well as a pull-out sofa), a bathroom with shower and two WCs. A mobile air conditioning unit relieves you of the worst of the heat.
Access for travelers:
You have access to the communal garden with its various fruit trees such as peaches, figs, apricots and apple pomegranates. A barbecue, a plancha and a deep-fat fryer are available in the garden. Granite tables invite you to have lunch or an evening barbecue. You can choose the spot you prefer, in the sun or in the shade.
The Dordogne is just a few steps away, so you can enjoy a breathtaking sunset while jogging along the river.
Other remarks
You can order a breakfast that we prepare carefully for you, with a fresh seasonal fruit salad, croissant, homemade jams, coffee or tea and fruit juice. 9.50 € In addition, you can order an egg, sausage and cheese for an extra charge of 5.00 €.
We also offer dinner on request, fresh from the market with matching wines and on request also vegetarian or vegan, please reserve at least 48 hours in advance.
You can rent our bicycles and ride to Saint Emilion, which is only 20 minutes away, or take a walk through the vineyards.
The train station is only 5 minutes away by car, we can pick you up there.

Paradise near St Emilion
We had the best stay at this beautiful property. The pictures show its beauty but the charm and comfort can only be shared from experience. Our hosts are incredible chefs and wonderful conversationalists (kindly putting up with my basic french), who provided a gourmet dinner and two delicious breakfasts. They are also a wealth of knowledge about the area. We highly recommend Le clos Emilion! Thank you for a wonderful three days!
