"We stayed in the suite. The room was huge. You can see the Cologne Cathedral from the room. The room has a little porch to sit outside. The location is fabulous! It is in the heart of Cologne. The hotel is a bit old and dirty. They seem to be redoing the rooms from the lower floors up. The suite is in the top floor, so it still has carpet and is a bit dated. The woman who works the desk is nice, but the man who works the desk is not friendly. The hotel is connected to a restaurant that has delicious food and a nice manager. We would stay here again though just for the location."

"I was in Cologne for a 5 night stay with the goal of seeing the city and visiting my German relatives. This hotel was perfectly located and central, my room was comfortable with good air-conditioning and very clean. I was traveling alone and had no concerns for safety and many places to eat were just steps away from the hotel. I had the breakfast one morning - and the service was excellent - the choices for the buffet were typical and enough for me. Although my room window faced the Alter Markt - I had no issue with noise - very well insulated. The front desk staff was helpful and gracious - calling a cab, answering questions, and even helping me to mail a package!"

"Everything was great. This was our second time staying here due to the helpfulness of staff and the great location. The only issue I had this time was a malfunctioning public toilet in the back of the main area near the orders train bridge that made walking through there so, so awful. Luckily, going that way isn’t necessary, but it still probably should have been addressed before it got to that state. Still, I understand not everything can be controlled, and everything else about our trip was perfect. I will return here when I am in Cologne again."

"It’s a beautiful hotel right in the center of the city. I was just passing through, on the way to Austria, so I only stayed for one night. I would have liked to stayed for longer. Maybe next time. The staff were very polite and helpful. Buffet breakfast was quite nice. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone."
