Stylish, boutique hotel within a short distance from the cathedral and the mainline station. Helpful, charming staff. Quiet, well-equipped room with an excellent bathroom. Comfortable end elegant public spaces with a great bar. I hope to stay there again!
We booked the suite and the vibe of the room was excellent. Lovely lighting, perfect for a couple. There was a weird smell from the shower/bath and were missing a couple of “nice touches” like conditioner, a kettle, a tv you can stream to but overall we had a lovely stay. The staff on reception and at the bar were lovely and very attentive. We were able to get a couples massage on the day we arrived and the spa was gorgeous. Thoroughly recommend though quite expensive for missing the “nice touches”.

Centrally located hotel
A decent hotel in a central location. The room was small, but comfortable. The decor is cool, but not everyone might like it. There was a weird perfume smell on the floor, and there was a problem with a shower.
Everything was veey clean. Comfortable beds. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent air conditioning. Very good breakfast options. The only surprise was cost of valet parking. Website says parking available, but does not say it's valet parking or that it costs 30 Euros per night.
The hotel was a great choice for a short, last-minute trip. The staff were incredibly kind, always smiling, and very helpful, which made the stay even better. The interior of the hotel was beautiful and well-kept, adding to the overall charm.
As for the room, it had a unique look and was very clean, though the decor felt a bit outdated. One downside was the lack of a coffee/tea station—most hotels with a similar star rating usually provide a kettle along with complimentary water or some snacks like cookies, which I would have appreciated.
On the plus side, the bed was very comfortable and a good size for a single room—it was actually a one-and-a-half size bed, which I really loved.
First of all this is a really nice hotel. Cleanliness, staff, location, etc. all are excellent. But it’s definitely not for everyone. The interior design is a very powerful and different. There is probably a specific term for it but I found it very “dark.” Counters, floors, walls, etc. are either black or dark purple and take some adjustment to the eyes. There are plenty of lights but all are carefully placed so as to actually light up as little as possible. And the interior design theme takes priority over practicality. One example is the bathroom has nice fluffy towels but there is nowhere to hang them. I guess having pegs on the bathroom walls doesn’t fit with the design. And you can’t see the slot to put your key card in when you walk in your room to turn the lights on so you gotta hold your phone flashlight up to see the slot. What in the world??? I noticed all this may attract a certain type of clientele and that’s all fine and good. But I’m a business traveler and felt like I didn’t really fit in. But some high points: located within 5 minutes walk of Hauptbahnhof and Koeln Dom. Can’t beat location. And the gym is way better than average. Also price is good for the location. And the breakfast spread is good but not great for EUR 29! It’s interesting but not sure if I’m coming back.
The room looked like the pictures and was very large. I rented one of the apartments. The shower was amazing. Super convenient to the train and there's a grocery store one block behind the hotel. Only real negative was they only give you one pod for the coffee machine, but you can buy coffee and tea around the corner. I would stay here again.
