Great location!!

Perfect location on the Rhine. Arrived early and was happy they allowed us to check in right away! Room is spacious and clean. Loved the in room coffee.

This hotel is within a couple blocks from Cathedral, very convenient. Not your typical reception desk…it’s inside the restaurant. The staff were exceptionally friendly. The rooms were nice and good size. There are several restaurants along the walkway and we had river view. Parking garage was near. Only complaint was the cigarette smoke from outdoor restaurants could be smelled if window was opened on 3rd floor.

The only positive was the check in. The staff were all very nice and friendly. We got back to our room that night and at midnight found the toilet tank wasnt filling. No one answered and at 0300 i figured out that the toilet, shower, and sink were all connected somehow. In order for the toilet tank to fill, the shower had to be on and in order for the shower to run the sink had to be turned on. Plus there was only hot water. It was so hot we couldn’t take a shower. Then we started seeing the roaches. We got up to 6 in our room, on the third floor, and decided it was time to leave. We left at 0345. We messaged the hotel through Expedia and still haven’t gotten a response 24 hours later. I waited to do this to give them a chance to answer. So, long story short, would not recommend.

This place is a mixed bag. On the good side, the location is wonderful on the Cologne waterfront near the cathedral and many restaurants. on the less good side, we booked a no smoking river view apartment but when we arrived we were given a rear apartment with no view and stank of cigarettes. We asked for a different room but no river view ones seemed to be available (the manager on site spoke little to no english) so we got another back room. On the positive side the rear apartments are quiet but they are also very hot and the aircon did not work.

Yes, a big yes!

This was walking distance from train station. Easy check-in. Clean and spacious room, great bed and wonderful comforter. Restaurant downstairs - all was great - I'd definitely recommend to others.

Clean basic apartment and we stayed on the back side not facing the river, so it was quiet. Management is not very friendly. Would be nice if they had better pillows and a sheet on the bed (not just a doona).

Perfect location and great service. Only complaint is the noise.. We would wake up to loud people coming home at 2am and then what I can assume to be the staff working at 8am. Yet we were in the corner of the top floor, where I would assume the most isolation/quiet. Other than that, it was a great stay.

A little rough but great location!

We booked the room because of its proximity to the train station and the river. The location is absolutely great. There is a decent restaurant in the building and about 20 others within 100 meters. We had a view of the river which was nice. The room was clean and had what you would expect from a 3 star hotel. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the wifi worked fine. Having said that, other things have a bit to be desired. There is no air-conditioning, The TV only has Netflix's and it didn't work. In their defense we were too busy to ask them to fix it. The entry, hall and elevator leave a lot to be desired and they smelled. Overall for the location the price was good.

Ich bin positiv überrascht von der Unterkunft. Ich dachte erst, ich hätte mich verlaufen, da ich durch das Restaurant ins Hotel gelangt bin. Das Haus ist etwas älter aber das Zimmer ist richtig schön groß, ich hatte einen tollen Blick auf den Rhein und obwohl unter mir Restaurants waren, habe ich trotz gekipptem Fenster nichts gehört. Das Bett hat auch eine tolle Matratze, nicht durchgelegen, sondern richtig gut und bequem/gemütlich.

Es war enttäuschend. Das Zimmer wurde mit Klimaanlage angeboten. Es stand in der Ecke ein Ventilator. Bei 30Grad inakzeptabel. Fenster konnte man nachts nicht öffnen, da bis2:30 Lärm vor dem Haus. Ich erwarte eine monitäre Erstattung.
