Clayton Hotel Leeds
10/10 Excellent
"The Clayton was in a good spot, within walking distance of the city centre but not too close, meaning that it was very easy to drive there too.
The room was nice, and the curtains were particularly good - nice and dark. The shower had a very small spray, but the water was nice and warm.
The bar was pleasant, and the breakfast was fine too. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. "
"Really good hotel ,great service from staff, excellent on looking after bags after checking out. I would say better than other marriot stays, of which were good ."
"Very clean, beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. Room was lovely with a king size bed. Only slight criticism was that it took a long time to be served in the lock bar which is table service only."
DoubleTree by Hilton Harrogate Majestic Hotel & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely historic building with a nod to the past in the internal character but with an overall modern feel within the rooms. Comfy bed, clean bathroom and a safety deposit box and toiletries which made this a lovely room. Would have liked a better view, we were in room 145 at the back of the property and tbe coffee/tea tray was on a unit where there wasnt a plug so had to keep moving the entire tray to the dressing table when using the kettle. Given complimentary drink at the bar for our wedding anniversary which was nice and arrived in our room to towel swans and rose petals on the bed which was a lovely touch. Lovely breakfast with a variety of options - all good quality produce. Location was very convenient for walking into the centre of Harrogate.
